Zeus Forgets the Kouretes

In harsh and petty judgement,
In complaint and sanctimony,
Zeus forgets the Kouretes,
Forgets the goat-nymph Amalthea,
the honeycomb reserved for only him
(fetched by doves and eagles)
Forgets stone’s sacrifice,
the caves of Mount Ida…

But how can he forget it all,
be so cold, superior and small?
